Crowdsourcing is the devils tool

So the story goes, Satan is the king of this world, all that is material belongs to Satan.  Money is material, so this also belongs to Satan, which is why Satanists love money and the Christian says money is the root of all evil, considering poverty a virtue.  Crowdsourcing is the new way by which anyone with an idea can promote it on the internet and potentially get it funded by everyone on crowdsourcing sites, which makes it the devils tool.

A graphic novel called Madam Satan was launched on Kickstarter in January 2015, and was fully funded the next month by a hundred backers.  The Satanic Temple successfully funded their statue in 2014 to extensive media publicity on Indiegogo with over a thousand backers to raise $28,180 of their $20,000 goal.

The Christians attempted to fund a video game about Abraham, only raising 20% of their target goal on Kickstarter.  The project was cancelled after failing to raise funding in 2014, the Christians blamed Satan for its failure.  On the media outlet Polygon the Christian project coordinator behind the failed project said:

“If Satan is rallying some of his resources to forestall, delay, or kill this project, I think, this must be a perceived threat to his kingdom, I fully would expect something like this to have spiritual warfare. Look at the gospel accounts of demons and so forth. That’s reality. Many Americans don’t believe it anymore. That doesn’t change reality.”

It would seem that results speak for itself, crowdsourcing is the devils tool, useful to Satanists, less so for Christians.

  1. I think it’s funny when the christians are forced to admit the “gates of Hell” have prevailed. God is so incompetent. And poor. Always going broke.

I also like how they can say “I failed because I am too much of a threat to the enemy”. That’s a sloppy way of saving face.

These are the things that made me question my faith.

  2. The irony is all the politicians with good Christian values that crowd source their campaigns, and all the corporations with CEOs that go to church yet both are the leading causes of poverty and hunger and funding wars.
